Pitching rule:
CHANGE CLUBS, NOT SWING SPEED
The beauty of this rule is that all it requires is understanding how far you hit each of your wedges when you swing halfway back and three-quarters back. Because I play with three wedges, that means I have six built-in yardages (three clubs times two backswing positions) from 50 to 100 yards. I can hit pitches simply by selecting a wedge and either making a half or three-quarter backswing. Making practice swings indoors at these two lengths will help develop consistency.
